Our solid pine L-shape, or Turin, futon frame with no arm is part of our Quebec collection. Its simple design is ideal for a minimalist living room aesthetic as a sofabed. You can also keep this L-shape frame permanently open as a low-to-the-ground platform bed. 

We do not colour this item, and you can see the natural beauty of sand-finished pine wood. 

The L-shape futon frame is only available in full size and can fit any standard futon mattress. Full size is the same as double. 

We ship this frame in one box, and you need to assemble it. We recommend two people to assemble this frame. You need a Philips screwdriver to attach each slat to the legs. 

To complete the sofa bed, you should add a futon mattress and a futon cover.

Quebec Collection

We have different collections of futon frames, each with its own characteristics. Our Quebec collection, for a start, is made in Quebec, Canada. Wood stains are hand-applied, and the general fit and finish are high. 

The main advantage of futon frames in this collection is the metal and spring mechanism. This mechanism is essential, making opening and closing your futon sofa bed effortless. 

We use non-toxic, low-VOC finishes for this collection.

Hardware and Assembly

We ship the hardware and instructions and an essential allen key with this item. You may need a Phillips screwdriver and do not need power tools.

Assembly of our Quebec collection is reasonably straightforward as most pieces, including arms, seats and back decks, are pre-assembled.  

Solid wood

We use solid White Pine to make our Quebec collection. We use premium wood on the arms and the frame, which are knot-free and have no finger-joint pieces for maximum strength. Slats on the seats and backs of the futon frames are knotty pine. White pine takes on colour stain nicely and has nice grains. 

Solid wood products like futon frames are sturdy, easy to maintain, beautiful to look at and hold their value.
